Privacy
We do not try to find out anything about members of the public who visit this website.
Nothing that can identify you is given to anyone else.
We do not log the specific identity of visitors.

This means that we know the originating IP address of a user agent requesting a URL. (An IP address is the address of your computer, and URL the address of the website, like http://www.advocacynetwork.org).
We also know the Referer and User-Agent information that accompanies an HTTP request.
We do this so that we can analyse log files to find out which pages people like to read most.
We also like to find out how people found our site (e.g. which search engine).
We do not use 'cookies' to store information on users or track their computer use.
